A binational delegation from the Ukrainian-Polish NGO, Institute of International Academic and Scientific Cooperation (IIASC) is visiting the IBW for an academic exchange. The visit forms part of the IIASC's international intership programme.

The delegation comprises of school principals and representatives from the Ukrainian Department of Education and Culture.

Members of the delegation will gain insights into ongoing research projects that impact on education in Switzerland and beyond.

Three areas of focus have been defined, on which doctoral students of the Institute for Educational Sciences of the University of Basel will present their latest findings:

• Lifelong learning strategies and policies
• Programs for training future educators, including innovative approaches to teacher preparation
• Digital transformation in education, particularly how digital tools are integrated into teacher education and lifelong learning programs

Short presentations will be followed by  discussions and the chance for networking opportunities.
